Senior Product Designer
Hi! We are looking for a Senior Product Designer that will be shaping the experience of millions of users around the world on a leading luxury marketplace platform.

Who you are
As a Senior Product Designer, you will be part of the Product team, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You are a self starter with a passion for solving problems for our users and customers. You will work with colleagues in Product to better understand our users and customers and market via data and customer research. You have a strong understanding of best practices and emerging trends in UX and UI design. You have experience creating not only end-state UI but also user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and design concepts.
Responsibilities
As Senior Product Designer at James Edition you will
- Create innovative, beautiful and usable solutions to complex user challenges, that generate value for our business, together with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Create the UX and UI design for both sides of the product: buyers and sellers.
- Lead the necessary User Research to learn about users' needs and validate your designs.
- Write excellent copy for your designs.
- Maintain and evolve design system.
- Gain industry and domain knowledge by following industry newsletters and thought leaders and keeping up to date with competitors' product improvements.
- Facilitate internal and external workshops following design thinking frameworks, in order to solve design challenges.
- Analyze user data in Google Analytics, Mixpanel and Hotjar to generate insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building web and mobile products, preferably as part of a product team/ squad.
- Experience at startups is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Expert in Figma.
- Passion for outstanding visual design with a strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of the end-to-end iterative UI/UX processes, including user personas, scenarios, wireframing, prototyping and user research.
- Self-motivated attitude with an ability to plan and execute projects in time.
- Willing to overlap with colleagues who work in CET time.
